How knowing about energy balance can help you save money
The concept of Energy Balance may seem simple, and maybe you've heard it a thousand times already. But it's actually very helpful to come back to when you're trying to make sense of ads nutrition-related information that you come across in your everyday life.
For example:
"New Fancy Supplement X will help you burn fat!"
If you'd like to lose some weight, that probably means you should take it. Right?
Maybe not.
Whatever this supplement does to your fat metabolism, taking it won't lead to weight loss unless you're able to put yourself in a caloric deficit at the same time. That means consistently taking in less energy than you burn.
There are many ways to do that, and they don't require forking over a bunch of money to supplement companies.
